Grand Millennial Dog Accessories — For the Dog Mom With a Point of View

The Grand Millennial aesthetic isn't a trend. It's a correction.

After years of minimalism — the white walls, the blank surfaces, the "less is more" that became less is just less — a generation of design-conscious women decided they wanted their homes to look like they were actually lived in. Loved. Accumulated over time with intention.

Grandma's china cabinet. The good wallpaper. Toile, chinoiserie, needlepoint, needlepoint pillows with attitude. A home with a story.

And then they got a dog — and found nothing that matched.

Lu & Liv makes grand millennial dog accessories for exactly this moment. We take the patterns and visual traditions that define the aesthetic — toile de Jouy, chinoiserie, botanical illustration, needlepoint-inspired motifs — and put them on waterproof silicone collars and leashes.

The result is a dog collar that looks like it came from the same world as your throw pillows. That belongs in the same room as your William Morris wallpaper. That would not look out of place in an Architectural Digest photo spread. And can also go to the beach.

Frequently Asked Questions

Grand Millennial is an interior design and lifestyle aesthetic defined by a younger generation's embrace of traditional, maximalist, and "grandmotherly" design — toile, chintz, ruffles, heirloom antiques, decorative objects, and pattern-on-pattern. It's the opposite of minimalism, rooted in warmth, intentionality, and visual richness.

The Grand Millennial aesthetic draws from traditional pattern design: toile de Jouy, chinoiserie, botanical and floral prints, needlepoint-inspired motifs, vintage damask, and similar heritage patterns. Our collection is built around these traditions, reinterpreted through a Lowcountry lens.

Not really — this is a gap we identified specifically. The Grand Millennial interior design space is rich with content and product, but the pet accessories market hasn't caught up. We're the first brand to design explicitly for this aesthetic in silicone/waterproof construction.
